Patient Advocate*
Assure has an urgent Need for Advocates that are Bi-Lingual to help serve our Spanish-speaking patients.
To be a Patient Advocate, we request the following:
- Women 19 to 99 with a heart for saving women and children from abortion.
- Must be willing to make a year-long commitment to volunteering 3x a month.
- Must be able to fulfill a shift length of 21⁄2 to 4 hours.
Receptionist
Be the welcoming face to all patients and clients who enter the Center. Duties include:
- Check patients in when they arrive.
- Answer the phone and transfer calls.
- Do light administrative work such as filing.
- Must be willing to work 3x per month at a minimum.
- Only available at our West office.
Office Assistant
Our Office Assistant volunteer serves outside of patient hours. Duties include:
- Make copies of the paperwork.
- Organize and file paperwork.
- Attach mailing labels.
- Other duties assigned.
- Must commit to volunteering 2x a month.
Yardwork and Landscaping
We want our Center to look as welcoming and attractive as possible. Duties include:
- Pulling weeds.
- Watering flower beds.
- Maintaining beds in spring, summer, and fall.
Mobile Unit Pit Crew
Help Assure Women’s Center keep our new mobile unit in working order, including scheduling and performing routine maintenance
*These volunteer opportunities are available at both Omaha locations. All others are available only at the Hartford office located at 6510 Sorensen Parkway.
